Rog-O-Matic XIV

Source: docs/games/rogomatic.md

The classic Rogue-playing program developed at Carnegie Mellon University by Andrew Appel, Leonard Hamey, Guy Jacobson, and Michael Mauldin. Rog-O-Matic was, for a time, the strongest known Rogue player — human or machine — and it remains one of the earliest substantial pieces of game-playing AI to survive in source form.

Placeholder. Content migration is in progress. The canonical Rog-O-Matic distribution was tied to Rogue 5.2 / 5.3 binaries; see also Rogue 5.2.
